Mustang Golf Takes On The Brook Hill Invitational

On Monday April 3, the Mustangs boys and girls golf teams travelled to East Texas to compete in the Brook Hill Invitational. The tournament was held at Eagles Bluff Country Club in Bullard, Texas. Both men and woman’s rounds started at 9:00 am and the teams finished around 3:00 pm. The boys golf team fell short with the lowest score being an 87, by Jude Westra. The girls golf team 4th place in the tournament with the lowest score being shot by Makena Didyk. “We had a fun time on the course, it was a beautiful day and the course was nice. The trip there and the team dinner was fun and brought the team together.” Said Didyk. The Mustangs rounded off their non-district season with this tournament. The next tournament for the Mustangs will be TAPPS Districts Tournament held in Richardson, Texas at Sherrill Park.
