On Thursday October 10, the McKinney Christian Academy second graders had their second annual Charlotte’s Web Day. They are currently reading the book “Charlotte’s Web” and had a fun day to get the kids more excited about the book. There was a petting zoo brought to the school to show the students the farm and the setting of the book. They also had fun activities in different classrooms. In one, they made food that represented the main characters of the story, Charlotte and Wilbur. They made spider cookies for Charlotte and pigs in a blanket for Wilbur. In the other classroom, they made a craft to demonstrate the webs Charlotte would spin.
