On Friday, Sept. 4, McKinney Christian Academy dominated Wildfire HSA, earning its second victory of the 2026 football season. The Mustangs took control early, leading 20-0 after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 42-0 by halftime. MCA maintained its lead throughout the second half to secure the shutout. Senior quarterback, Jackson Solomon, led the Mustangs’ passing attack, completing nine of 10 passes for 170 yards and four touchdowns. Senior, Harrison Thompson, added two receiving touchdowns and 93 receiving yards.
The win improved the Mustangs’ record to 2-1 on the season after a 53-6 win over Founders Classical in their home opener. “I think the offense really clicked this game and improved a lot from last week. I’m looking forward to seeing what we do in next week’s game,” Senior, Lincoln Pogue, said.
The Mustangs will look to build on the victory when they return home to face Covenant Christian on Sept. 11.
