On Monday, January 16, 2017, McKinney Christian Academy’s Varsity Girls Basketball team battled it out against the HSAA Angels at a home game in the SLC. Unfortunately, the Lady Mustangs lost. This win did not discourage the team and the Varsity Basketball Girls will continue to work hard in practice in efforts to make up for this loss. Senior Lexi Vance said, “I am a little disappointed in our loss, but you win some and you lose some. The Angels were definitely a good team, but we cannot let it get to us. Now we know our mistakes and where we need to improve. I am excited for what the rest of the season holds.” The team’s future is still bright for a seat in playoffs. Their next game is scheduled for Monday, January 23, at Prince of Peace. Be sure to support those Lady Mustangs.
