The McKinney Christian Varsity Girls Basketball team secured a victory on Tuesday, January 31, against Coram Deo Academy, and earned the title of “District Champions.” The Lady Mustangs defeated the Lions with a score of 57-48. The Varsity Girls then played the Callisburg Wildcats in order to practice for playoffs. Their method proved successful and the Mustangs were able to defeat the Wildcats 68-38. Senior, Lexi Vance said, “I am so proud of my team and how far we have come this season. We have been putting in the work and I feel it has really paid off. I am definitely looking forward to playoffs.” The Lady Mustangs will host the Pantego Panthers in their first playoff game on Feb. 14. Be sure to come out and support those Lady Mustangs.
