If you missed the first Paint Your Pet Night, there was another chance to participate on February 2. Paint Your Pet Night took place on Thursday, February 2 from 7:00- 9:30pm. It was hosted at the Mellow Mushroom on Louisiana street in Downtown McKinney by Stand Up & Paint. At Paint Your Pet Night, those who attended the class had the opportunity to paint a previously traced image of their loved furry friend onto a canvas. No artistic experience was required because step by step instructions were given. All proceeds were given to the Raining Cats & Dogs Rescue shelter. The cost to participate in such a fun class was only $40.00. There are still many community events that are open to join.
