The city of McKinney has several exciting events headed our way. You’ll want to stay updated on the newest events so you don’t miss a thing this month. With February coming to an end, it is time to start looking into March events. The next upcoming event is The Artist’s Way Workshop beginning Thursday, March 2, at the First Christian Church in McKinney. The extensive program takes place every Thursday evening through April 6. The workshop lasts from 7:00 to 9:15 pm and is taught by local artist, Rex McGee. It is based on Julia Cameron’s best-selling book, The Artist’s Way. The purpose of the workshop is to inspire the creative side of your personality, helping you start those creative projects that you have always wanted to take on but never thought you could. Participation in this unique, six week program is only two hundred dollars. This workshop is not only fun and exciting, but it is also a very powerful thing to be apart of. This is one event that you definitely don’t want to miss.
