After a tough loss, the Lady Mustangs varsity softball team needs another victory to secure the team a spot in the Area Playoffs. On Tuesday, April 18, the Mustangs lost 9-6 against the Coram Deo Lions. MCA’s Varsity Softball team now holds a 3-3 record in District and tied with the Coram Deo Lions. Since either team will advance to the playoffs, the Mustangs and the Lions will play again to break the tie. Senior Lexi Vance said, “This was a tough loss, but I know we are capable of so much more. We have been working hard, and I know we can beat Coram Deo.” The Mustangs are scheduled to play the Lions Thursday, April 27. Come support your Lady Mustangs Varsity Softball Team.
