MCA Parents,

In January 2017, MCA proudly announced that we were streamlining our processes and putting in place a simplified system by converting our Re-enrollment Contract to a Continuous Enrollment Contract.  Historically, we average over 90% re-enrollment.  Therefore, we made the process simple for our wonderful MCA families!  Please read below for how our Continuous Enrollment process works!

OPTIONS:

  1. Staying at MCA:

If your currently enrolled MCA student(s) is staying at MCA for the 2018-2019 school year and you are not receiving tuition assistance all you need to do is confirm your FACTS information in January!  Please watch for a verification email from FACTS.  On February 1, 2018, your student(s) will be considered re-enrolled for 2018-2019 and the

$350 re-enrollment fee (per student) will draft from your FACTS account mid-February. In March, tuition payments will begin.  Remember the Continuous Enrollment Contract is a financially binding.

  1. Staying at MCA but Receiving or Needing a Tuition Grant:

If you need to apply for tuition grant and aid, please complete the FACTS Tuition Grant and Aid application promptly.  Tuition grant awards must be applied for annually.  Applications are open each November and are accessible through ParentsWeb (under FACTS tab) or by clicking on this link https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. Tuition grant funds are limited and awarded in date order based on when completed applications are finalized by FACTS. Deadlines for submitting completed tuition grant applications are as follows:

  • Current MCA Families – COMPLETED applications due by December 31st
  • New Families – applications open December 1st and will be awarded based on remaining funds in January.

Please contact Maria Bristol in the MCA Business Office if you have any questions regarding financial assistance maria.bristol@mckinneychristian.org .

  1. Staying at MCA but Receiving a Pastoral Award:

If you are currently receiving a Pastoral Award, please send a letter confirming employment dated in January 2018 to Maria Bristol

(maria.bristol@mckinneychristian.org) by February 15, 2018. Letter must be submitted annually.

  1. Unsure if Returning to MCA:

If you are unsure if your currently enrolled MCA student(s) will be attending MCA for the 2018-2019 school year, contact the Admissions Office in writing before January 31, 2018 to discuss.

  1. Not Returning to MCA:

If your currently enrolled MCA student(s) is NOT planning to attend MCA for the 2018-

2019 school year, you must notify the Admissions Office, in writing, before

January 31, 2018.  Once written notification has been received by the Admissions Office (on or before January 31, 2018), your student(s) spot will be opened up for new MCA applicants.
