Last Thursday, the MCA Middle School football team defeated Good Shepherd by a long shot with a final score of 66-14. This game kept the Mustangs undefeated and gave the fans a great game to watch on home turf. The Mustangs got a lead on Good Shepherd early in the game leading up to many scoring opportunities later. Jay Thompson, eighth grader, made the sidelines go wild as heĀ  received a kick for the Mustangs in the first half and he ran the ball into the end zone. Eighth grade quarterback, Sebastian Claudio ran the ball into the end zone two times for the Mustangs. The Mustangs offense and defense were both dominating when Daniel Kanz, eighth grader, got a pick six for the Mustangs. Eighth grader Trace Norfleet, said “We came out swinging from the first play to the last, we never gave up. Everyone went 110% from play one to one hundred. We worked well as a team and we will use this game to spring us forward into the oncoming games ahead of us.” MCA has still not lost a game and they will face Providence next on October 25th at McKinney Christian Academy.
