Recently, the Middle School Drama Department performed the play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” which was originally produced by William Shakespeare. The Middle School Drama Department performed the play on May 3rd and 4th in the MCA Drama Room. The play was a hilarious rendition of Shakespeare’s greatly acclaimed play, and the small room made it possible for interactions with the crowd during the play. The audiences consisted of students, parents, and friends, and they all enjoyed the play. Sebastian Claudio, 8, who played Lysander, a lover of Hermia, said, “We performed very well in the play and I think that the hard practices we did paid off.” The play was an overall success and the Middle School Drama Department exceeded expectations for the play.
