  • Varsity prays in a pre-game huddle before the start of the first game of the weekend.

Last weekend the MCA held the 9th Annual Tournament of Champions Volleyball Tournament which lasted three days. The Lady Mustangs took home second place after losing to Hockaday in the Gold bracket championship games. Senior, Emma Lowes, said “I think this weekend was all around a learning experience. We learned how well we can play when everything comes together and that we have potential to do great things.” The Lady Mustangs and coaches are excited for this season filled with new talent and opportunities.  Lowes also said, “We have all just bonded so well it feels like we’ve played together for so much longer. We have many returning players and many new players to Varsity so I think one of the neat and sad things about being the only senior is that this is my last year with these girls and I only have a little time left to impact their love for this game.” Don’t miss out, check out the game schedules on the MCA Mane Edition and come out to support your Lady Mustangs this season.
