Tuesday, October 16, the Lady Mustangs traveled to Brighter Horizons for their final district game. The match lasted three sets ending in a Mustang victory. The first set ended with a score of 25-10. The second set finished the same, the score 25-10. The third and final set was 25-6. Mustangs won with a sweep ending as co-district champions. The tie-breaking district match is scheduled for October 23 at 7:15 pm at Dallas Lutheran against Prince of Peace.

The next Thursday, the MCA volleyball team traveled to Rockwall to play one of volleyball’s rival teams Rockwall Heritage. Before the varsity match, JV played their last game of the season. They won in two sets ending their season on a very high note.

The varsity game lasted four sets. In the first set, the Mustangs started off slow but picked up the pace only to lose 25-27. The next set was pretty close throughout but ended with a score of 23-25. In the third set, the Mustangs played strong throughout and won 25-23. The fourth set ended in another mustang loss, the game ended with a score 0f 19-25.
