McKinney Christian Academy kicked off their annual BoosterThon with a lower school pep rally in the Student Life Center. The purpose of the BoosterThon is to use the money raised by students’ running for the betterment of our school by running a set number of laps. Students will have sponsors that help them earn pledges. Pledges can be anything from crazy sock day to a movie day. Sponsors can be a family friend or relative. The pledges and sponsorships can be found at funrun.com. While students run, they’re raising money from their sponsors, that money then goes to our school. Therefore, the more a student runs, the more pledges they get, and the more they’re helping out their school. Here are the times for Boosterthon Mustang Fun Run.
Outdoor: 3rd,4th and 5th 9:00am-10:00am
Prek, K, and 1st 10:00am – 11:00am

There is a strong possibility the run will be in the gym. The weather calls for rain on Wednesday and the temperatures will be cooler in the morning meaning the field will more likely be wet. Just be prepared for both scenarios.

Indoor: 4th and 5th 8:15am – 9:05am
3rd and 4th 9:10 am – 10:00 am
Prek,K, and 1st 10:00am – 10:50am
