MCA vs. Irving Highlands

MCA hosted Irving Highlands on their home field on Monday, December 3. The game was a blowout and the Mustangs crushed Irving Highlands, the final score was 10-0. The Mustangs came out swinging and by the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The Mustangs had made a goal of controlling the ball, and the Mustangs were on a offensive push during the whole game. The Mustangs swept Irving Highlands in the second half and they capitalized on their opportunities scoring six goals. They Mustangs accumulated 10 goals from seven different players, teamwork was a key element in the game.  Senior Emma Thompson was a key player in the win against Irving Highlands and she scored three goals for the Mustangs. Thompson said, “Our team constantly strives to get better. Not only do we play as a team, but we fight to see each other succeed.” The Mustang’s preparation and execution led to their victory against Irving Highlands. The Mustangs next game is Friday December 7 at MCA against Bishop Lynch.
