On December 4, the fourth grade class headed to the Perot Museum for a field trip. The Perot is a nature and science museum where you can race a T-rex, challenge your friends in a robot competition, experience a simulated earthquake, and so much more. Anything from DNA to diamonds, they have it all packed into five levels. Johnathan Magana said, “I got to see a real human brain, and I could have beat the Tyrannosaurus at the race simulator if I didn’t have short legs.” Overall, 4th graders had fun and learned a lot, some students even want to go back to beat Jamal Charles at the race simulator.
