16 February 2019 MCA held a Family Fiesta themed dinner and both silent and live auctions in the Student Life Center. The previous year was MCA’s 25th Anniversary Gala themed auction. Connie Gibson, Development Coordinator, and her team put out 80 items for the silent auction and 10 items for the live auction.  The live auction was led by MCA parent auctioneers John Beazley and Mike Mayberry as emcees. Entertainment was also provided by Upper School Ensemble, Lower School Honor Choir, Middle School Jazz Band, and Mrs. Bass’ Ukulele players. “The funds raised to go towards scholarships was just a blessing, and we are blessed to have so many generous and supportive parents at our school.  Our decorations committee and procurement committee exceeded our expectations.  I want to thank everyone who helped with the planning of our event, all that came out to support the event, and especially our Heavenly Father for His great provision” stated Connie Gibson, Development Coordinator.  The two-hour event was filled with laughter and lots of fun, and we are grateful for all those who participated in the event to make it an enjoyable time.
