The MCA wrestling team traveled to Pennsylvania this past weekend to compete in the Prep Nationals Tournament at Lehigh University. Sophomores Nate Gwynn, Cort Doyle and Seniors Caleb Doyle and Rex Collins represented MCA. The Prep National Tournament hosts some of the best wrestlers from each state. Collins placed 7th overall and is now an All-American. Caleb Doyle placed in the top 12. Gwynn finished top 16 and Cort Doyle finished top 32. MCA placed 34th out of over 200 teams. When asked how he felt he and the team performed Caleb Doyle said, “I think the team did exceptional at Nationals. I feel the coaches and wrestlers represented MCA well.”
