On Saturday, February 23, The Annual TPSMEA All-Region Band for Upper School and the Middle School Honor Band clinic/concert was held at Greenhill School in Addison. After submitting a recording and being judged on best performance, three of the five students won spots in the band. Upper school freshman, Jacob Hocevar, and seventh-grade middle school student, Grace Krause were invited to perform with the bands when the person they competed against couldn’t make this weekend’s performances. “The directors were great and so fun to work with.” The Director is very proud of their hard work and the concerts were the best I’ve ever heard from these groups, especially the high school band.” Their director Dr. David Hanan chose outstanding music to challenge and promote unity among the amazing group of musicians.
