All Upper School students gathered together on Friday, March 1, to pray for each missions’ team before MCA’s annual missions week. Parents of some students also attended to pray over their children and their student’s classmates. They were asked to pray for three specific items; God would save the lost in the communities they will be in, that God would give the students and chaperons the endurance for the whole week, and that God would show more of himself to all those involved in the missions. The parents and students prayed for the safety of themselves and their classmates as some students stay local for missions and some traveled out of the country for their missions. Pastor Trey said this about the chapel, “This is a time when we as an Upper School gather together to worship God, hear God’s word, and pray that God would give us much favor for our teams that are going out into the mission field.”
