On February 28th, the Middle school choir traveled to Prestonwood Christian to compete in the ACSI Choir Festival. There were many other schools there such as Legacy Christian and Trinity Christian. The 7th and 8th grade choir sang three songs for the judges and got rankings of ones and twos. The judges gave comments like “excellent tone,” and “beautiful vowels.” This is quite impressive given the size of the choir is only 13 students, and they competed against choirs in the 30s and 40s. Mrs. Locke comments, “I am very proud of how hard they worked for this festival and the results of their performance.” The Middle school has another competition in April at Pinstack.
