Cross Country had a record setting weekend in South Lake

The Upper School cross country team placed 10th overall. Junior Maliq Brock placed 25th with a time of 17:20.

The McKinney Christian Cross Country teams traveled to Southlake, Texas to run in the Guyer Milesplit TX XC Invitational. The Mustangs had a great outing and set 23 personal records at this meet. Junior Maliq Brock ran a personal record of 17:20 and placed 25th overall. The next Mustang to set a personal record was Sophomore Daniel Kanz running a 17:55 and placed 49th overall. The team as a whole placed 10th, notable competing teams were Keller, Plano West and Prosper. The Middle School cross country team placed 6th overall. The first to place for Middle School was 8th grader Nic Catullo, running a 12:32 and placing 14th overall. The Mustangs travel to Myers Park for the Lovejoy XC Fall Festival on September 21st.
