On Tuesday, September 10, the Lady Mustangs aced their first district game. Sweeping Trinity Christian Cedar Hill in three sets, starting 1-0 in district. The student section was roaring throughout the game with all types of screams and chants. They continuously play a big part in volleyball games by encouraging the girls. The varsity girls won each of their sets 25-9, 25-18 and 25-5. After this game, Junior Ava Grace Haggard describes the future season by saying, ”We are always working hard and the bond between our team has never been stronger. The determination I see from my teammates inspires me and shows just how far we can go.” Next week, the team is away to face their rival opponents, Prince of Peace.
