Choir Gaylord Performance, All-Region Choir, and All-State Choir

On December 13, 2019, The MCA High School Choir traveled to Grapevine, Texas to perform at the Gaylord Hotel. The Choir sang Christmas songs for guests attending the annual “ICE!” exhibit at the hotel. After performing, some students had the opportunity to go through the exhibit, “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Ice skating and snow tubing were also included in the exhibit and available for students.

Freshman, Jackson Pope and Junior, Bryce Atwood participated in All-Region Choir January 11th. The event was held at Trinity Christian Academy and led by conductor, Dr. Allen Hightower of the University of North Texas. Junior, Bryce Atwood also represented MCA at All-State Choir at the Eisemann Center on January 25th.The esteemed choir held 200 members and was conducted by Dr. Pamela Elrod Huffman of Southern Methodist University
