Brandi Goforth is originally from Arkansas and moved here after graduating grad school. Prior to McKinney Christian Academy, Goforth was a teacher and coach within McKinney ISD before becoming a missionary for one year in Mexico through her church. When asked what drew her to MCA Goforth said, “This may sound cliché, but I absolutely love the core, Christian values MCA has, it’s standards and vision for students, along with the safe environment it provides to come alongside and do life and disciple the students here and pointing them to Christ through education and the relationships that MCA fosters.” At MCA, Goforth is the girl’s varsity assistant soccer coach, dual credit US History facilitator, as well as co-teaching personal finance with Edna Pajela. So far, Goforth is enjoying her time here at MCA saying “My students and athletes are incredible. I could not ask for a better group of kids. The staff are so welcoming and always willing to help out.” A couple of fun facts about Coach Goforth is that she is semi-fluent in Spanish, coffee and tacos are her favorite, and she is terrified of snakes.
