The Upper School Winter Formal dance occured on Saturday, January 25th. The dance was held at the Flour Mill in Downtown McKinney starting at 8:30 and ending at 11:00. Whether you brought a date or not the dance provided many different activities for one to enjoy. You could break it down on the dance floor, grab a snack from the snack bar, or take a break at the tables and talk to friends. The DJ kept the dance floor groovin with a variety of music, from Ed Sheeran to the 80s you never knew what tune was playing next. Senior Lauren Rose commented on the music saying, “The music was fun to dance to. My favorite part was when they played “Break My Stride” for the seniors to dance to, it was a bittersweet moment to share with my classmates.” The students appreciate Student Government for all the hard work that goes into coordination and making Winter Formal happen.
