This weeks senior spotlight is Meg Boone and Ford Dossey.

Meg Boone has attend McKinney Christian Academy since her freshman year. Within her time at MCA, Boone has been involved in cheerleading, the play Cheaper by the Dozen, competed in Original Oratory at TAPPS twice, Stang Station and NHS. Some of her favorite things to do in her free time is dance, write, lay out in the sun, and she especially loves to bake. Post high school, Boone is planning to attend Texas A&M University at College Station and majoring in Communications with goals to become a news reporter or anchor. Her favorite MCA memory is her freshman year when she competed at TAPPS, finding out she placed third and sent MCA over the edge to win first place on the bus ride home. Two fun facts about Boone is that her favorite color is blue, even though most people assume it’s pink, and that she has two middle names “Meghan Anelise Janine Boone.”

Ford Dossey has attended McKinney Christian Academy since the sixth grade. Within his time at MCA, he has been involved in varsity football, indoor track, outdoor track & field, and varsity baseball. In his free time, Dossey enjoys hanging out with friends and playing video games. After high school, he plans to attend Baylor University and major in Professional Sales. His favorite MCA memory is receiving texts from Coach Pirtle that never make sense and attempting to decode the message. It happens so often so Dossey and senior Blake Rodgers always get a good laugh out of it. A fun fact about Dossey is that he broke both of his  collarbones before he was five years old.
