Senior Spotlight: Courtney Martin and Dylan Doerner

This weeks senior spotlight is Courtney Martin and Dylan Doerner.

Courtney Martin has attended McKinney Christian Academy for six years. Within her time at MCA, Martin has been involved in NHS, choir, varsity volleyball, and ensemble choir. Outside of school, Martin enjoys hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, and playing video games. After high school, she plans to attend Mary Hardin Baylor University and major in Nursing. Her favorite MCA memory is when the volleyball team played against Legacy Christian Academy on her birthday. A fun fact about Courtney Martin is that she enjoys painting.

Dylan Doerner has attended McKinney Christian Academy since his freshman year. At MCA, Doerner has been involved in several TAPPS academic competitions and has served as president of the Mu Alpha Theta Club. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and watching sports. Post high school, he plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin in pursuit of a Chemistry degree with hopes of attending medical school after college. His favorite MCA memory was when he made the game-winning play in the wiffle ball game to beat Mr. Yonan’s seventh-period class last year. A fun fact about Dylan Doerner is that he has shaken hands with Dirk Nowitzki twice.
