On Saturday, September 12 McKinney Christian Academy’s Lil Stangs soccer program began an exciting new season. With a kindergarten, first and second grade team these mighty Mustangs are prepared to represent their school. Our second grade Lil Stangs put up a fight, but they lost against the Strikers 0-3.  Second grade soccer coach Jeremy Brudwick says, “I’m looking forward to seeing the players improve their skills, work together as a team, and continue to enjoy the game of soccer.” The first grade team played an excellent game facing the Mavericks winning 3-0. Finally, the kindergarten Lil Stangs beat the Wolves with a final score of 11-0. Kindergarten coach Jason Young explains, “Our first soccer game was a blast!  The team did a great job of working together and gave an awesome winning effort.  The family and friends were amazing cheering the kids on to victory!” Despite the changes this year, The Lil Stangs are figuring out the new soccer season as they play their sport with the support of their coaches and families.
