North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour long online giving event designed to give every person an opportunity to give back to their community in one platform. MCA participates in North Texas Giving Day to raise money for our Spirit of Giving wishlist or annual fund. The Spirit of Giving wishlist includes a list from every department made up of things that are not covered in the school budget. People can choose which cause or item on the Spirit of Giving wishlist they want to donate to. Connie Gibson, Development Office Manager, said, “This year was more successful than expected because of the COVID issue.” MCA raised $33,394 through the portal and received another $326 the next day for a total of $33,720.
