This past Saturday, September 26, the Varsity and Middle School cheerleaders held their annual Lil Stangs clinic for Lower School girls. The Middle School cheerleaders led the kindergarten and 1st graders while the varsity cheerleaders led 2nd through 5th graders. The Lil Stangs learned a dance, cheer routine and sideline cheers. Junior varsity cheer captain Samantha Youngblood also led the 2nd through 5th graders in a devotional. Junior co-captain Maddie Simmons said,” Lil Stangs went very well. The girls has so much fun. Even though we all had to socially distance, we had a great time.” The Lil Stangs will perform their dance and cheer this Friday at the Homecoming game as well as cheer during the first and second quarter of the game.
