The McKinney Christian Academy seniors held the second Senior Worship Night on October 24, 2020. The night is led by the senior members of the Praise Band at Erwin Park in McKinney. The night started with singing and praise led by the Praise Band. The seniors sang several songs such as “Reckless Love” and “It Is Well” for the first twenty minutes of the night. Then, the seniors who showed up joined the Praise Band in fellowship around the bonfire. The seniors talked amongst one another and ate s’mores for the rest of the night. Senior Praise Band member, Summer Crise, said, “The night was really fun. Even though it was really cold, it was still amazing to see seniors come out to worship the Lord and have fellowship with one another.” The Praise Band hopes to continue to hold a Senior Worship Night every month, and they are working on planning the next date.
