Varsity Volleyball Team Serves a Spot into Playoffs

The Lady Mustangs varsity volleyball team played their last district home game of the season on Monday, November 2nd, against Dallas Christian Chargers. The Mustangs won all three sets 25-4, 25-19, and 25-22. Senior captain, Ava Grace Haggard led the team with 17 kills while freshman Kaylin Starling had seven. Sophomore Daniela Morales had 23 assists, while senior Micah McDowell and junior Bella Vaught had an 23 digs each.  Morales talks about this remarkable win saying, “It was a good game to get us ready and pumped for playoffs. We also had the opportunity to work on our consistency and being aggressive.” The Lady Mustangs now serve up a spot into the playoffs with their opponent either being Bishop Dunne or Southwest Christian, who play this Saturday at 1p.m.
