Nine students from the Upper School choir performed in an All-Region Choir Concert on Saturday, January 30. The students got to be apart of a prestigious concert with other choir students around the area. After auditioning for a spot in the All-Region Choir, the members rehearsed all day on Friday and performed the next day at Prestonwood Baptist Church. The songs they performed together were Cantate Domino, Lamentations of Jeremiah, On Jordan’s Stormy Banks and Witness. The boys also sang Bonse Aba, and the girls sang Nada te Turbe. The All-Region Choir members practiced and worked hard to have a good performance. Choir director, Amy Jordan said, “The literature was difficult, but the singers had a great time singing with other choir members in our region.  They had an excellent performance and made lots of fun memories along the way.”
