Senior Spotlight: Emma DeMaagd and Korey Vita

This weeks senior spotlight is Emma DeMaagd and Korey Vita.

Emma DeMaagd has attended McKinney Christian Academy since the eighth grade. Throughout that time she has been involved in varsity soccer, yearbook, tech theatre, student government, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. Outside of school, DeMaagd enjoys art, thrifting and hanging out with friends and family. After high school her plan is to attend University of Texas at San Antonio in the fall as a part of the University of Texas at Austin CAP program. After her first year she will transfer to University of Texas at Austin where she plans to graduate with a degree in psychology to become a child’s therapist. Her favorite MCA memories have come from playing varsity soccer with her best friends for the past four years. A fun fact about Emma DeMaagd that most people do not know is that she wants to spend a year traveling the World in a Volkswagen bus one day.

Korey Vita has attended McKinney Christian Academy for the past 14 years. He has been involved in varsity cross country, varsity soccer, varsity track, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. In his free time Vita enjoys taking naps and hanging out with friends. After graduation his plan is to attend Southern Methodist University to study finance at the Cox School of Business. His favorite MCA memory has been going to cross country meets with his friend especially the trip to Stephenville because the hill was a thrill. A fun fact about Korey Vita that most people do not know is that he has watched Hunger Games: Catching Fire over 100 times.
