This weeks senior spotlight is Micah McDowell and Jake Gerardis.

Micah McDowell has attended McKinney Christian Academy for the past 14 years. During this time she has been involved in varsity volleyball, varsity soccer, varsity softball and National Honor Society. Outside of school McDowell enjoys hanging out with friends as well as family and visiting their families ranch in North Texas. After high school she plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in Psychology on the Pre-Physical Therapy track. Her favorite MCA memory was going on a summer trip to Greece with Mrs. Pajela. A fun fact about Micah McDowell that most people do not know is that she has never broken a bone.

Jake Gerardis has attended McKinney Christian Academy since his freshman year. Throughout that time he has been involved in varsity baseball, Mu Alpha Theta and band. Outside of school he enjoys working out, hanging out with friends and family, playing spikeball and playing racquetball. After high school, Gerardis plans to attend Nebraska Wesleyan University to continue his academic and baseball career. His favorite MCA memory was playing baseball with his closest friends for the past four years. A fun fact about Jake Gerardis that most people do not know is that he played lacrosse in Middle School.
