McKinney Christian Academy hosted Prom Saturday, April 24 at The Star in Frisco. The dance lasted from 8:30 to 11 p.m. The Star provided snacks like cotton candy, cookies and sliders as well as drinks. DJ Oren played music for the students to dance to all night long under 19,200 LED lights hanging by the ceiling. There was also a photobooth for everyone, including the teachers, to enjoy with fun props and signs. During the dance, Senior Jake Gerardis was tossed in the air by his fellow classmates and when asked about how he felt about it, he said, “I believe I can fly!”
