Kristi Clark has taught at McKinney Christian Academy for 20 years. When she started teaching here she taught all subjects in a self-contained class then a year later MCA expanded their faculty so she taught Math and Bible. Clark has watched the school grow and improve over the last 20 years and has worked hard to teach the word of God to the kids and teach them how to feel comfortable refuting myths about Christianity. During her years at MCA, Mrs. Clark has been able to be a part of many fun and memorable events, but her favorite is the pine cove trips that she has been on 18 times. When asked about why she likes MCA Clark stated “ It’s not just a job it’s a family” Clark enjoyed getting to see her kids grow up here and got to build great relationships with the staff. A fun fact about Mrs. Clark is that she goes to Sonic almost every morning to get a drink for the day because “a caffeinated teacher is a happy teacher” stated Clark. Over her years at MCA Mrs. Clark has impacted not only the students she has taught, but the entire MCA family and has worked hard to teach students important lessons to help them understand and feel grounded in their faith. We are sad to see Mrs. Clark leave, however, we know that God has lots of good things in store for her and everyone she comes in contact with.
