Every year when a new class graduates two seniors are honored as valedictorian and salutatorian of their class. When asked about this honor, “It’s a great honor. It takes a lot of time to do school. I would like to thank Ms. Cheney for making me work hard.” Hocevar will be attending Texas A&M University.  The salutatorian is given to the student who achieves the second-highest GPA in the graduating class also graduating with an honors diploma, this year salutatorian is senior, Shane Vanderhagen.
