On Tuesday, October 5, the Middle and Upper School choirs performed at the annual Fall Choir Concert in the Student Life Center at 7 p.m. The advanced vocal ensemble also performed at the concert. The Upper School choir performed “Sanctus” by Libera, “Keep your Lamps” by Victor C. Johnson and “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” by John Rutter. When asked about how the concert went, senior Landry Nelson said, “It went very well, and everyone performed to the best of their ability.” In addition to the Upper School Choir, the Ensemble performed “Broken Roads” by Rascal Flatts. Choir director, Amy Jordan said “I felt like the students performed very well for their first concert.” Jordan also added that her favorite song the students performed was “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” as the entire choir came together and sang it as the closing benediction. MCA students can look forward to the choirs’ Christmas concert in December.
