On Tuesday, November 9, the Lady Mustangs volleyball team competed in their second playoff game of the 2021 season. The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs hosted Legacy Christian Academy Eagles in the Student Life Center at 6:30 p.m. Students filled the stands dressed in suit jackets and slacks following the “strictly business” theme. The starting rotation featured freshmen Kadence Ackmann and Bren Williams, sophomores Sky Miller and Kylie Mullins, junior Georgia Haggard and senior Bella Vaught. The Mustangs maintained a lead over the Eagles winning the first two sets, but fell short in the third set. The game continued into a fourth set where the Mustangs won, securing a 3-1 win overall. Libero, Vaught, contributed to the win with 28 digs. Starling led with 16 assists, and Mullins tallied five aces throughout the game.

The Lady Mustangs advance to regionals, the third round of playoffs. Regionals will be hosted at Dallas Lutheran School at 3:30 p.m. against the Fort Worth Christian Cardinals.
