This week’s Senior Spotlight is Elizabeth Etheredge and Carson Lee.

Elizabeth Etheredge has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for 14 years. During her years here, she has been the photography editor for the Mane Edition newspaper, an NHS member for two years, an art student since 6th grade and also played volleyball. When she is not at school, she enjoys driving around aimlessly with friends, eating chipotle at least three times a week, going to the gym and listening to music. After graduation, she will be attending Texas Tech University and will major in nursing to become an ICU Nurse. After that, she will eventually go back to school to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist and begin practicing anesthesiology. Her favorite MCA memory was sitting around the fire and eating smores with her friends on the night with just the seniors at retreat. A fun fact about Etheredge that some might not know is that she has a weekly cleaning schedule for her room and car and she also likes to read outside of school.

Carson Lee has been attending MCA for four years. During his time here, he played basketball for three years, played football his senior year, participated in yearbook his senior year and participated in tech theatre during his sophomore and junior year. In his free time, Lee enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also loves playing basketball with his friends out of school. After graduation, he will be attending the University of Oklahoma and will major in sports business or sports management. Some of his favorite MCA memories was going on college tour, playing football his senior year and painting his senior parking spot over the summer.
