McKinney Christian Academy Upper School participated in mission’s week. The Upper School student’s groups that stayed on campus presented to the students in the Lower School. Their presentations included teaching the Lower School students about different Fruits of the Spirit and about different countries. On Monday, students spent all preparing their classrooms, practicing and getting ready to present. Tuesday and Wednesday the Upper School students spent all day presenting and teaching the Lower School students. The Lower School students were split up into groups of about six and rotated to different classrooms to learn what each class was presenting. On Thursday, students went off campus to Hunt County Shared Ministries to help and serve people in need while the freshmen competed at a ropes course.  Finally, the Lower School held their annual Fun Run on Friday and the Upper School students helped cheer on the runners. The Fun Run is a fundraiser event where the Lower School students raised money and ran circles around a track. Overall, Missions Week was an opportunity for students to serve their school and their community.
