This week’s Senior Spotlight is Lizzie Smith and Dalton Sanders

Lizzie Smith has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since the 4th grade. During her time at MCA, she has been involved in varsity volleyball, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Student Government and yearbook. Smith has been in yearbook since sophomore year and is Editor-In Chief this year. When Smith is not at school she enjoys baking, driving around and listening to country music and Taylor Swift, watching sunsets and hanging out with her family. After graduation, she plans on attending Texas A&M University where she will major in neuroscience and minor in business. Her favorite MCA memory was when all of the senior girls stayed up all night at retreat until they heard Mrs. Smith wake up and they all sprinted to their beds. A fun fact about her that some people might not know is that she has a teddy bear hamster named Theodore.

Dalton Sanders has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for just a little over a year. During his time at MCA, Sanders has been involved in varsity football, track and choir. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, sports and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Sanders will be attending Dallas Baptist University where he will study business. His favorite memory from his time at MCA was playing at Ron Poe Stadium with all of the fans supporting him and his team. A fun fact about Sanders that some people might not know is that he can speak Spanish.
