On Saturday, April 23 McKinney Christian Academy held the 2022 Upper School Prom at the Dallas Star in Frisco. Students traded their uniforms for dresses and suits from 8:00 to 11:00 so they could take it away on the dance floor. At prom, there was a photo booth along with props and signs so that students could capture the memories from the night as well as refreshments and a donut bar with all sorts of toppings. Music was taken care of by DJ Oren Pajela while students danced along to the beat. Senior Maddie Clark said “My favorite part of prom was definitely making memories that will last forever. Even though it was sad knowing it would be my last dance, it was still super special and a great memory that I will have for the rest of my life.” Prom was a great way to make memories and have one last hooray as a high school before the end of the school year.
