Senior Spotlight: Bella Vaught and Tyler Carpenter

This week’s Senior Spotlight is Bella Vaught and Tyler Carpenter.

Bella Vaught has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since her sophomore year. During her time at MCA, she has been apart of the varsity volleyball team, National Honor Society and art. During her free time, Vaught enjoys hanging out with her friends, working, writing, and being outside playing beach volleyball. After graduation, she plans to attend Stephen F. Austin University where she will major in marketing. Her favorite memory from her time at MCA was getting to play volleyball under Coach Ackmann, Coach Drew and Coach McDowell and proceeding to make it to playoffs every year. A fun fact about her that some people might not know is that she is originally from Georgia and loves the gym. 

Tyler Carpenter  has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since his eighth grade year. During his time at MCA, he has participated in varsity soccer, track, cross country and band. In his free time, Carpenter enjoys skateboarding, playing soccer and videogames. After graduation, he plans to attend LeTourneau University where he will study Aerospace Engineering and play soccer. His favorite memory from his time at MCA was going to state for cross country his sophomore and senior year. A fun fact about Carpenter is that he has played soccer for 13 years.
