Today’s Senior Spotlight is Maddie Simmons and Sebastian Claudio.

Maddie Simmons has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for the past seven years. During her time at MCA she has participated in theatre where she is currently the president of the theatre company, and has cheered for the varsity cheer team where she has been co-captain for the past two years. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, baking, and getting boba tea. After graduation, Simmons plans to attend Southeastern University where she will major in education. Her favorite memories from her time at MCA were going to events with the cheer team, especially their summer camps. Simmons said that they worked so hard, had so much fun, and made so many inside jokes. They spent the time bonding, loving one another, and working together. A fun fact about her that some people might not know is that she like origami.

Sebastian Claudio has been attending McKinney Christian Academy for five and a half years. During his time at MCA, Claudio has been involved in football, basketball, track, theater, broadcast, student government, Mu Alpha Theta, Debate, National Honor Society, and TAPPS speech. When he is not at school, Claudio enjoys hanging out with his friends, designing clothes, and watching movies. After graduation, Claudio plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and get a business degree in entrepreneurial studies. His favorite memory from his time here at MCA was running through the haunted kitchen on the 8th grade trip. A fun fact about him that some people might not know is that he loves architecture.
