Today’s Senior Spotlight is Abigail Dahl and Lawrence Ho.
Abigail Dahl has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since Kindergarten, 13 years in total. During her time at MCA, she played volleyball for six years, played the french horn in the band for seven years, and has been in National Honor Society. When she is not at school, Dahl enjoys hanging out with friends, going to church and working out. After graduation, she plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University to major in nursing and play in the band. Her favorite MCA memory was going on the band trip to Austin where she went in and out of antique stores and went late night bowling with the band. A fun fact about her that some people might not know is that she has a goldfish that has been alive for almost ten years.
Lawrence Ho has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since the fifth grade. During his time at MCA, he has participated in TAPPS Competitions, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, and robotics. In his free time, Ho enjoys drawing and making stories to further construct the multiverse born from his imagination. It is something he has tirelessly worked on everyday since its conception in 5th grade. After graduation, he plans to attend The University of Texas at Dallas where he will study computer science. His favorite memory at MCA was when he formed a club with his friends in 8th grade. The formation of the club became the basis of all of his good memories in 8th grade and onwards and helped shape who he is today. A fun fact about him that some people might not know is that despite being a quiet and reserved person, he helps propagate stupid ideas amongst his friends.
