The McKinney Christian Academy fifth graders went on a field trip to Cathy’s Critters for their Big doG’s service project. Cathy’s Critters is an outdoor farm and zoo that has wild animals. The students enjoyed interacting with animals like ostriches, goats, snakes, birds and piglets. The McKinney Christian Academy students got to see a baby goat named “Mustang Sally.” The fifth graders helped with tasks around the farm such as cleaning animal enclosures, cleaning the property, and helping around the farm. The fifth graders had a unique experience going to Cathy’s Critters, seeing the animals and helping around the farm.
