On Tuesday, August 23, the Lady Mustangs Varsity volleyball team traveled to Grapevine Faith to compete against the Lady Lions. The Varsity game began at 6 p.m. The first set started out with the Mustangs winning 23-25. The Mustangs picked up the pace in the second and third set, winning 14-25 and 15-25. Winning all three sets lead to a quick victory for the Mustangs. Junior Varsity also came out victorious in their game, winning in two sets. Freshman Aubrey Hejil says, “The team did an amazing job of working together, I love getting to play with these ladies.” The Lady Mustangs next game will be in the Tournament of Champions on August 25-27, hosted by McKinney Christian Academy in the Student Life Center.
